There’s something about a helical staircase that really appeals.
This staircase was designed by an award-winning architect for a property in Salcombe.
After initial discussions with the architect, slight changes were agreed upon with the spindles and newel.
The string was curved with flexi ply to give it a tight radius. LED lights were fitted under each tread to illuminate the whole flight.
Oak treads with painted risers, an oak handrail, and gunmetal steel spindles achieved a finish that worked perfectly.
